Solid gold is highly durable, but can accumulate dust and oils over time. To clean, soak your gold jewelry in warm water mixed with a few drops of mild soap. Use a soft-bristled brush to gently scrub details, then rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid wearing gold pieces in chlorinated pools, hot tubs, or when applying abrasive chemicals.
Diamonds are exceptionally hard, but their settings and surrounding prongs require care. Natural precious stones like emeralds, sapphires, and rubies should be protected from sudden temperature swings and heavy impact. Clean gemstones gently with lukewarm soapy water and avoid ultrasonic cleaners unless specifically recommended by our gemologists.
We advise putting your jewelry on last when getting dressed to protect it from perfumes, cosmetics, and hairsprays. Store each jewelry piece separately in its original Alayaa suede-lined box or a soft jewelry pouch to prevent friction and scratching against other metals.
